Red tail and a Kestrel going at it. Happen have the 100-400 mounted. The Kestrel stayed on the Hawk for a while.

Thanks. There's more flying wild life around the canals of Imperial county then in the desert. Burrowing owls are my favorite.

Owls are cool. I have a canal where there's at least 6 families of those owls. They are posers. But lots of other fowl flying about.

Thanks. I carry 4 lens ( 10-18mm, 100mm macro, 100-400mm and 18-135mm) and use a 60 liter pack to store the stuff. Sometimes a smuggle some of it into my wife's day pack when shes not looking. smile
