We have been reading reports of a decent wildflower bloom in the northern parts of the Anza Borrego desert. While the majority of wildflower seekers head to popular spots like Henderson Canyon and Borrego Palm Canyon, we tend to stick to the quieter regions to the south.
While we did not find the extensive flower fields similar to last year’s desert wildflower bloom we did find some nice patches of Desert Sand Verbena and Dune Evening Primrose.
Looks like things could be peaking in this area mid to late March so stay tuned…🌸🌻
