11/14/2015 Topic: Santa Rosas expedition partner wanted, Dec. 20-24 House of the Crow	Oh man, Rockhopper, I think I remember that pool from 1994! I was 14--my dad and I stopped there for a snack about a third of the way down from Jack Miller's, if I remember correctly. I haven't yet been up past the Miller cabin to the NW fork--every time I look at Black Rabbit and thereabouts I see a sea rock and green overgrowth that makes me go 'yech', lol. The cabin is beautiful, though. The closest I got is one year a friend and I tried to hike the upper reaches of Horsethief via the creek bottom--it taught us a whole new appreciation of what undergrowth can do.
