Although I am brand new to this forum, I'm going to step up and recommend a new book you might not have heard of yet. While it is no guide book it is an excellent book on the rock art in the region. Don Liponi and Daren Sefcik did the photography in the book. A lot of the photography is done in a process called DStretch. DStretch brings out pictographs that may no longer be visible to the naked eye. I was a skeptic at first but found there was an app for the iPhone you could use so I tried it out on several trips I have made into the AB and surrounding area and was surprised at the results.
