Now that photo bucket has changed it's terms, I guess no more posting pictures from my photo bucket account. $399 per year seems pretty steep considering it's been free for years. All my photos are backed up at my home so no big loss ,but sure was convenient. Any recommendations for a cheap or free service alternate? Thanks Paul a.k.a. rockhopper edited by rockhopper on 7/14/2017

yeah its a shame Photobucket is doing this. Many of my trip reports have lost their photo links. There is no way I am paying that price. I started using imgur.com

Agree with Buford. Flickr works well, at least at the present time. Who knows what will happen now that Verizon bought it.

The Flickr app works great! Let's face it, the only cell service that works at all "out there" is Verizon. Or, Iridium

Or, Iridium A lot of people like Flikr and it is free..SmugMug is relatively cheap (about $30 per year) for unlimited storage and lots of options. I am jealous of folks who have Verizon, it works everywhere...but hopefully T-Mobile will make some progress in the next couple of years since they have just purchased up some of the frequencies needed to penetrate deeper into the public use air space.

Google Photos is pretty good and free. You can create and share albums as well as individual pics. Convenient if you are already in the Google universe. Here is an example album.
BTW, I had the same issue with photobucket. It took me three weeks to download all my photos from photobucket and upload them again to Google Photos. edited by tekewin on 10/7/2017

Here's a link to a firefox and a google chrome plug-in so you can see all of the "broken" photobucket images....
Firefox... https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/photobucket-fixer/?src=cb-dl-recentlyadded
Google Chrome.... https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/photobucket-embedded-imag/ogipgokcopooepeipngiikdkpmcpkaon
Brings the pictures back. At least for now.
