Tom and I hung out in the mountains this past weekend, rode the bikes and did a little hiking.

The USFS makes some serious guzzlers out there. I bagged a couple of the more difficult BM's, Korth & Long....Cool
Plenty of ticks out there right now.

Oh Yeah....I sold the '81 Toyota and bought Tom's truck..!!

Forest there looks really lush. I had to look up where this was. Boy, the Cleveland National Forest is really big. Probably a nice break from the heat.

Showed up to ride bikes on Saturday but missed out on all the exploring and the San Diego 100 race that passed a few feet from Daren's campsite on Friday night and made him miss a few winks of beauty sleep. Apparently he's run that race a few time. Winning time was 16:49:13 which is about what it take me to climb El Cajon once.

Couple lizards from the week before when my wife and I walked that stretch of the PCT. Lots of flowers along the trail but summer is coming...

That is what made getting to those BM's difficult, the thick brush and then brushing off all the ticks. It is pretty out there but lots of bugs flying in your face. Sat night and Sunday morning were very windy out there.
