Bob, here you go...This is a must do!
Decided to use a "sick day" today and headed out to finally check out the Goat Canyon Trestle. I mounted my video camera on my helmet and took some awesome videos, but for some reason I can't upload them to youtube....I will try and get them uploaded later an add another post. The ride is not for the faint of heart as much of it takes place on a single track right on the edge of the cliff! I think there is a video on youtube of a guy taking the plunge over one of the cliffs on his MTB bike. Weather was perfect. I thought the ride back to De Anza would be tough, but pretty easy.
Decided to stop here and pay my respects and also say a little prayer venturing out solo
Which way to go????
watch out for the particle board
Yeah made it!
Caved in tunnel
so many tunnels, glad I brought a flashlight! Make sure you bring a powerful one! The tunnels make you feel like you are on the pirates of the caribbean ride, and a bit spooky!
Stopped at the Gas Station after the ride and had to grab a 24oz Sierra Nevada! Great Trip

Yep, looks like you hit all the stops. I love the funky green in the trains. I know last year we put plywood over the hole also, looks like it broke thru again. That is a great ride and your right about the lights, you need to bring some!
Was there water running down thru some of the longer tunnels?
I think my perspective of the crosses was a little different....
