On July 3, 2013 I finished a 21 day 214 mile hike on the John Muir Trail. Here is the link to the album with some of the pictures I took along the way. My wife did the first 3 days with me and a buddy did the last day summit of Mt. Whitney from Guitar Lake with me. The other 17 days I was solo. Hope you like some of the pics. It was an amazing experience!!!

Give us some time to look thru them David...awesome, I am glad you were able to get out and do something like that, I am sure you will have some good memories and will bet you are already thinking of a new trip....8-) I would be interested in knowing more about the logistics you planned...food, water, clothing, etc.

That looks like a great trip David. Nice to spend that much time in the outdoors. How much weight did you lose? My colleague did the trail last summer and came back pretty skinny! I've heard those marmots will chew on hoses on cars at some trailheads, some folks wrap their cars in tarps in an attempt to thwart the critters. Yeah, I'd be curious to hear about your trip logistics, pack weights, etc. Congrats. - Jim
