My Buck Knife

So all that talk about my knife on tommy750's post motivated me to fix it up. Almost like new...but not really. I guarantee it is sharp as new.
https://www.darensefcik.com/Photography/Misc-Folder/My-Buck-Knife/

I cleaned and polished it all up and got it ready for a new sheath

Busted out the old Singer Treadle machine, seemed to sew right thru the thick leather just fine, these old Singer sewing machines are just bad ass

Almost done, just need to finish the belt loop and the securing strap

Clearly a sheath was needed, some people just should not be around sharp objects

Thanks everyone for motivating me to spend my Saturday fixing that old knife...!

Nice find! How high up on the accent was it? What is the handle made of? I'd love to know how long that knife was out there. It was just up the climb a bit, maybe 3,000' or so. It seems to be from around 1970-80

Just seen this thread. Been carrying my dads Navy survival knife. Wasn't sure where to put it. Been in one of the pockets of the pack. Like the shoulder strap area. Like your sheath also. What was the material? Wow out of control picture....sorry

Britain, I have one of those also, still in the original (falling apart) leather sheath. I also 3D printed a sheath for this Buck knife, added a coyote brown shock cord and it has landed in my off road e-bike saddle bags.
