Thought I would create a poll to see what the consensus on the peak wildflower bloom in Anza Borrego will be.
Obviously it can vary by region but curious what the experts think?

I'm hoping for the first week in April. I'll be camping at Aqua Caliente Park then and will report back.

TR,

This will be a little vague, I had all these photos/plants named with locations, tried to post yesterday, kept losing them.
Locations: Harpers Canyon, Hapaha Flat, Fish Creek, one photo Ancient Beach Line, the Family Ranch (Borrego Springs)

That last pic is very cool. I don't ever remember seeing anything like that before. What is it?

I'm not too sure what it is. Never seen anything like it before. It was growing under a sage bush by Dos Cabezos in 2010 when we went. It is mushroom like, with those pretty little purple flowers on it.

The cactus seem to be really putting on the show so far this year....I concur on the wind Sat night / Sunday morning, I got up to pee and my bag/bivy/pad blew into a nearby cholla patch.
