Sounds like the crew had to deal with a lot of sand in their makeup kits. smile Hard times.

The article, and also the location manager I spoke with for this movie, said it was a low budget film. It is amazing how many people were around the set at Fonts Point the night we saw them filming. I wonder how many people it takes to make a big budget film.

I like the first comment after the article:
It's incredibly desolate and beautiful; the last thing needed are film crews traipsing about. Hollywood keep out!

I am guessing a few forum members feel the same way wink

Yes, i had the same thought when i saw the big trailers parked in Fonts Wash along S22. (I didn't drive out to the actual filming site at Fonts Point.) But it was a bit disconcerting to come over the rise east of the wash and see all those vehicles. Next time i'm in the area i might drive out to the point to see if there is any evidence left from the film crew.

$$$$

Here is a fee schedule for filming in state parks, I think they need to charge more....

I was at Fonts Point on Thursday. The film crew did a good job cleaning up after themselves. Found a bit of melted candle wax on the promontory east of Fonts Point but other than that no trash or other artifacts. There were a few small scraps of paper and some other little bits of things where the trucks were parked along S22 but otherwise clean.

I camped Thursday night and did a couple of short hikes plus a bike ride along S22. I'll post some pictures later.
