I have helped recover a couple idiots I've randomly come across in the park. Neither one was stuck too bad but they weren't getting out without help. I carry some basic recovery tools to help myself or others.
The mud after the recent rains has been pretty bad. 4wd just means you bury all 4 wheels instead of 2.

My son and I helped numerous people out during the Super Bloom in March 2017 when they were stuck in soft sand on Old Henderson Road. We must have pulled out 4 different vehicles and once we were done, we had the entire road to ourselves.
