Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section 
This is my first post and just had a quick question about some pictographs I saw on a recent hike from the Bow Willow campground and wanted to know if anyone had any information on them. I looked a few places online and haven't found anything, so I figured I'd give it a try here. Just wondering if these were done by natives in the area or if they seem like they were added by pioneers? One looks almost Egyptian so definitely intrigued me... anyone know anything about these or have any ideas?

Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting. Interesting petroglyphs you've found there. Petroglyphs are generally pecked into stone, as your photos appear to show. In contrast, pictographs are drawn on rock with pigments. A few of the users here will likely chime in, as they have a lot of experience with the rock art in the park. Also, much appreciated that you remained vague about the location, as these rock art panels can be subject to vandalism. We have a general policy here to not reveal locations (or post photos with context that could help someone find a location) of cultural sites. I think your photos show the petroglyphs in a way that would not aid anyone in finding them.

Thanks for the clarification on Petroglyphs vs Pictographs, it a good distinction to know! I understand that preserving these petroglyphs and pictographs are very important and will make sure to keep it vague on any locations. I appreciate you taking the time to reply and look forward for any information. Thanks!
