Nice. It is always worth a summer trip out there, especially if the monsoon is active.

Very nice TR, Ziphius. My wife and I just found out the hard way what "Chubasco" meant a few nights ago down in Baja camping in a tent.

Those are great animal print captures. I like the sidewinder tracks, too. Never seen one in the wild, though I think they are hard to spot.

Now I need research "moisture capture" for hot days. I wanted to visit AB last weekend but it was still too hot for me.

Looks like our desert getting some much need rain. Regarding haboob winds. Saw a fellow campers dome tent ( no people in it but full of gear) take off and go rolling across the desert.

@Rocko1 that last photo includes a pair of coyote tracks, a front and a hind. Good reference for distinguishing feline vs canine tracks: https://www.inaturalist.org/posts/53994-canine-vs-feline-tracks-how-to-tell-them-apart

No, Years ago. We each had to sleep in our own trucks. Didn't sleep at all. The truck was moving due the strong winds. The smelly sneakers I put out on the ground at night before trying to go to sleep were blown away at night.wink Yes it was in ABDSP of course!
