This kinda broke my heart, two young coyote road kills within a few miles of each other. If you see road kill you should take a photo and report it when you get home. There is a website that collects this data and you can find here http://www.wildlifecrossing.net/california/

Sad man. The database looks like a useful research tool. I would include mountain bike trail roadkill in the database too..... lizards, snakes.

The CROS (California Roadkill Observation System) has published the 2016 Wildlife-Vehicle Collision Hotspots Report

Interesting reading....but hey, I take close up pictures of animal crap.....

Report Roadkill..!!! The data is useful to help save wildlife..!!
