I changed the Post thread sorting to have the most recent responses at the top. This way you don't have to scroll to the bottom to see the latest response on a particular post. Let me know if that works OK for everybody?
Best, Bob

I prefer it with the oldest first, esp. in when it's a new trip report. That way you see all the pics first and then other readers' comments below. But I'll defer to whatever the group decides, no big deal.

I like oldest first for the same reason as herofix, like to see the pics first. But I am not going to stop posting if it goes the other way. David

The sorting is newest first, I thought you changed it back to oldest first. The majority seem to agree, oldest first.

Not sure why I wrote this, I meant oldest first, just like the old site. It is confusing with the newest first.

Hi Bob, I am new to the forum and am very much enjoying it, thanks for your work on this. I posted my first reply, but unfortunately do not have the hang of inserting images inline, judging by my images on the "camping with pets" thread which only made it as attachments. Could you help me out on the finer points of correctly specifying the html to make the inline images flow? Thanks, Celeste

Hi Celeste, To embed images, they will need to be hosted somewhere like Google Picasa, Flickr etc.
For example if you have an image hosted at this url https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-CBe-fmhe58Y/Tb7UipWvhXI/AAAAAAAAGX0/EKEcV5FWBd0/s640/IMG_1432.JPG
You would click on the button and type or paste that url into the popup box.
That is pretty much it. If you currently don't have an image hosting service I like Picasa which is free but there are many others out there. ,
Fell free to post up anything you like and let me or Daren know if you have questions, Best, Bob
